Yostradamus strikes again!

Our old pal Ned Yost is now 3 for 3 this year in underplaying injuries of Brewers this season. All 3 of the players he insisted would be "fine" are currently sitting on the DL...or unavailable. Is it too much to maybe ask of Ol' Ned to maybe just shrug his shoulders and say, "I don't know?"

Maybe the bigger question is...if Yost saw the picture below, how do you think he would respond to the media's inquiries about the potential injury?

Ned Yost: “Tyrone Prothro will be fine. We are sending him back to Milwaukee so Dr. William Raasch can look at his leg and ankle only as a precaution. I expect to see him back in the line up in a few days.”

Adam McCalvy: "Ned...it's fairly obvious looking at the still shots that some bone in his leg or ankle has completely snapped. Isn't it a little presumptuous to expect him back in the lineup in a few days?

Ned Yost: "Tyrone's a gamer...ok! I'm going to give him every opportunity to succeed on this team. We're gonna wait to see what the Doctor says, then we'll go from there. I expect him to be ready to play soon."

"Tyrone... he battles out there. You guys in the media always think that when a guy's leg turns around 180 degrees that he's going to miss some time, but he'll be fine. No concerns, no worries."

essentially yost is right. weeks is fine, he had no tear or other damage and is on the dl because it makes sense to do so if he's going to miss oanother couple of games. why hamstring the lineup by having one less player available. are you guys jilted lovers of ned's or something christ you pick apart every little statement he makes, who gives a shit?
