Eric Who?
Sal Torres closed out his 4th game thanks to some nifty defense by Big Poppa and JJ. No doubt, he's throwing well...very well right now. Is he the Brewers closer even after Gagne comes back from his "injury?" I sure hope so. Even if Sal's current ERA is well below his career mark (2.71 - 4.33), I feel much more comfortable with him on the mound in the 9th than Gas Can Gagne. Three straight last AB victories? Nice.

How about the fact that unlike Gagne, most of his recent saves/wins have been clean innings. No walks or hits to make things way too exciting.
Salomon Torres is the closer for the Milwaukee Brewers.
I don't know, Turnbow had a pretty strong outing last night for Nashville. We could always call him back to be our closer.
Derrick Turnbow, 1.2 IP, 1 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 6 BB, 1 K – 13.50 ERA, 4.5 WHIP
He has walked a total of 21 batters so far in only 6 innings pitched.
His WHIP looks like a good yards per carry stat: 4.50. That's impressive.
Turnbow is nearly unhittable.
Turnbow has to be trying to get released. No one is that bad, right? Can we send him to low A or rookie ball?
