JS All-State College Team?
Yes, there is such a thing. I don't know when this started, but it's kind of a dumb idea. The JS listed their all-state team from colleges in Wisconsin. Ummm, I'm guessing on a normal year 100% of these guys will be from Marquette or Wisconsin....with an occasional Ed McCants/Joah Tucker/Tony Bennett sprinkled in. That's the case this year with Brian Butch, Lazar Hayward, Marcus Landry, Michael Flowers, and Jerel McNeal. Flowers was named player of the year despite being named second team All Big-11 in both the Coach's and Media polls. Butch was first team in both. Hmmm...the All-State College Team, an odd concept indeed.

What do you expect? This IS the journtinel that we are talking about, remember?
Dom James isn't even first team on his own team nowadays.
Regression.
