Brewers 2006 first round draft pick Jeremy Jeffress has failed another drug test, his second failed test in a span of a few months. The first penalty was a 50 game ban, this one 100. Melvin declined to comment saying "that's confidential."
Oh, but Jeffress can hit 100 on the gun, so they'll probably let him get caught 2 or 3 more times before they cut him loose.

Actually, this latest test occurred in a club-administered test in the Fall League and thus is not subject to the minor league drug policy. Therefore, there is not an automatic 100 game suspension. Any discipline for this test comes from the club. See the JS Brewers Blog today for more info.
Regardless, this guy is a moron if he knows he's subject to drug testing yet still fails them.
Perhaps he has that social anxiety disorder like Ricky Williams? Does he only do interviews with a football helmet on?
"But he has to decide if he wants to smoke pot or play baseball. You can't do both."
I love it.
i like pot too so what
Dude, you have to smoke a lot of weed to fail drug tests.
i wonder if the weed was still in his system from the first test he failed. not real sure how long it takes to get out of the system
As for how long it takes to get out of your system, it depends on how much/often you smoke. In JJ's case, that would seem to be quite a lot of both. It can stay in your system for up to two months if you are a super heavy pot head. So Jeremy should be clean in about 14 months....
