These two jokers have as many big hits in July as the Brewers.
Honestly, if the opposing team has runners on 2nd and 3rd with one out and the 3 and 4 hitters coming up, they win that game 98% of the time. The Brewers on the other suck donkey dick in that situation. Leave 6 runners on base in the 8th and 9th. Great job.
I will now vomit after Delgado hits a homer in the 10th.

While they pulled it out, I wasn't happy with it. Sure it goes inthe books as a 'W" and I have to admit, the pitching by Suppan and the 'pen tonight was decent, the hitting left a lot to be desired. I mean how many pop flies can a team hit?
Does this mean that for "Rickie Weeks Bobblehead Day" on Sept. 30th VS. San Diego that every fan in attendance will receive a Rickie Weeks Bobblehead in his Nashville Sounds uniform?
Hey, Geoff Jenkins is still capable of doing something...obviously. Big win. Soup pitched good, the same cannot be said for Wise. WTF???
Goldy, you are forgetting the power of Willis. He wouldn't allow the Brewers to lose last night.
There was in the story in the Journal a while back about "Wiser" going to visit whichever Red it was that he plugged in the face in the hospital when the Crew was in Cincy. My buddy has a theory, and he had it before last night, that Charlie Changeup is going to be a head case for the rest of the year. He looked mortified after he almost killed that guy, and I'd have to admit that last night he looked afraid of throwing a strike. It's just a theory....
Agree. He's been crappy ever since drilling that guy...
Obviously that was a big hit by Jenks. He obviously was sitting back waiting for his pitch, and obviously hit it out of the yard. Then obviously he got mobbed at home plate, and obviously a huge win for the Crew.

ap I like your theory about Wise Guy. I was ready to send him down to the farm league last night. I think I need to cut him a break, considering he did almost chop a guys head off last week.
I was a bit disappointed in Jenkins last night.. I stayed up to watch the entire game and his post game interview. It was pushing 11:30 pm and Jenkins only hits me up with 2 "obviouslys". It was a complete dry spell until the last question when he fired off two in a row.
I also watched for the Prince "nervous cough" but didnt catch it. Maybe tonight.
ap...
I concur with your theory on Wiser.
If wise was afraid of hitting guys, don't you think he would be trhowing the ball over the heart of the plate as opposed to 10 straight balls? I did not watch that half-inning, so if all his pitchers were a foot outside, I take that comment back.
Krey - Did you stay for the whole game?
Agreed McManus - Willis has magical powers. I am thinking of bringing that photo to the game on Fri.
Wise should become the Brewers assassin, put only in games to hit batters from now on, ie. the next time Zambrano is at the plate in a game against the Cubs.
I just checked the MLB gameday pitch info stuff from Wise's 10 pitch outing last night. If you get the chance take a look at Delgado's AB. All 4 pitches were about 4 feet outside the plate. Granted the first walk had some inside, but for the 2nd walk it sure did seem that Wise did not want to come too far inside. Again, it's just a theory. It just seems like his confidence is shaken a touch. BTW Spurling rocked last night.
That game was certainly nerve racking. I was in the stands so I couldn't see how close Wiser's pitches were, if someone could help me out on that one I would appreciate it. Super looked good. How about a shout out to Shouse and Spurling for keeping us in there. If I had the time I would figure out how much Shouse gets paid per pitch. We certainly had our struggles, but that is the type of game that can send your team on a 5 game win streak. Stayed for the whole game...they have to make a rule about serving cocktails in the extra innings, especially in those stressful situations when the crew has a chance to win and they don't cash in. Think we're gonna go on a huge role here.

On TV, it didn't look like they were close at all. It was a tight strike zone last night, but these would have balls any night.
