Hopefully These Bucs Suck as Bad in Milwaukee as Our Bucks Do

2 game series with Pittsburgh starts tonight. Naturally, Pittsburgh is as hot as they will be all year coming into the Keg, coming off a road sweep of the Cardinals and with a 6-2 road record overall. Random thoughts:

1. It'd be nice to see Bill Hall play a clean game or two in CF. He's been a natural disaster out there the past few series. I don't like to say I told you so...but I've been advocating for Hall at 3B for a while.

2. After watching Brandon Phillips and Ryan P. Freel tear holes in the pitching staff the past 2 games, can we please just hold the Pirates role players down this series? I'm gonna puke if Chris Duffy or Ronny freaking Paulino has a big series.

3. I'm glad we're missing Tom Gorzellany, who pitched yesterday against the Cardinals. I can't believe I just wrote that.

Bill Hall will be on the DL soon if they dont move him out of CF. Top of the 7th and he just ran into the wall. He has no feel for the fence. Earlier in the game he slid into the wall... great way to tear an ACL.

Nice win, let's get another one tomorrow!

BIlly at 3rd, Gwynn, Gross & Hart platoon in CF, Menchkins at the corners. Councell backs up the infield, and Graffinino becomes fairly expendable. Is that really that difficult?!?!?!?

I couldn't agree more with the comments on Billie Hall. In my opinion Get him out of Center....But that won't happen, look how long they put up with Ricky Weeks at second, waiting for him to improve. Ned and Doug will leave him out there all year! Just like they did with Weeks at second ...In the Mustache I must trust.. ....In the mean time it makes for interesting routine catches, that use to be boring...

Agree with Hall in CF...he's gonna cost us a key game somewhere down the line. Plus, he's killing himself out there banging against the wall and diving all over the place. How about moving Hall to LF? Rotate Jenks/Hart/Gross in CF and Jenks/Mench/Hart in RF. Just keep rotating guys. All these guys (except Hall) are better playing %75 of the time anyway.

This gives Hall seasoning in OF for next year when Mench and/or Jenks are gone and Billy won't be a "rookie" in the OF when Braun is at 3B next season.

I would just keep rotating those 5 guys in RF and CF...keeps everyone sharp. Ned has the bench, might as well use it.

I don't know if you can realistically put Jenks at CF. How about Billy at 3rd and Braun in LF; Ryan shouldn't be able to screw too much up in LF any worse than Carlos Lee did, right? Mench and Jenks RF, Gwynn & Gross CF, Hart rotates to any of the three positions. Get rid of the "Italian Sausage" Graffanino, Councell utility infield, and Aquino is given one more chance before he is kicked off of the team.
