I'm guessing Macha will trot out the "white flag" lineup today since we already won the series and this should have been a day off. Gamel, Counsell, maybe even Duffy.
They've already done that on the Brewers.com website.
What's funny is that Hardy has made it clear that he is a shortstop and said he if he is not the shortstop here, he will be the shortstop on another team. On the flip side, Escobar has stated that he is willing to switch positions, whether that's second, third or center...
Everyone suggests however, that Hardy move to second for Escobar

How is playing Counsell equal to surrender when he has the highest batting average on the team?
I would get used to seeing a lot of him being that Dick Reeks is on his way to the DL.
Craig Counsell = Greatest Brewer EVER.
Wouldn't be surprised if McGahee gets a start at second today. I can't even remember the last time that guy has played.
And Craig Counsell with have his number retired in Miller Park if he keeps playing this good.
Just hope that Counsell doesn't come back to earth now that it looks liek he will be an everyday player for a while.
I'm waiting for the first person to comment that the Brewers should call up Escobar and move Hardy to 2B.

Escobar is not exactly raking in AAA. .268 avg. and .317 OBP.
Not really rush to the majors numbers regardless of his defense.
