Even San Diego Didn't Want Him

Turns out Tony Gwynn Jr. is not such a hot commodity after all.

He cleared waivers and is off to AAA. Again.

Perhaps the small, but vocal, community of dopes who still think he should be a starting OF for the Brewers will go away. As we've established on this blog in the past, Tony Gwynn Jr. isn't very good.

If his career .300 OBP (for a guy who, according to the small-but-vocal dope contingency, is a prototype lead-off hitter) doesn't convince people that TGJ is garbage, I doubt the fact that no other team was interested in his services will do much to sway their opinion.
