Today is the annual whine-fest, when Wisconsin plays Michigan State and their crybaby coach (see below), unprofessional crybaby journalists and intolerable crybaby fans (Michigan State has never lost a men's basketball game in the Izzo era - they either won or the officials stole it from them).
And right on cue, this story comes out detailing the UW-MSU "rivalry", which is only a rivalry for the Spartans. Some highlights:
In last season's Big Ten Tournament semifinals, Wisconsin came back from a 12-point deficit in the second half to prevail 65-63. That cost MSU a shot at the tournament title, a top-4 seed in the NCAA Tournament and the chance to play in the Midwest Regional, which had its semifinals and final in Detroit.
After that one, Izzo wept openly in MSU's locker room and said he wanted it to "hurt every bit as much as it does so I can remember every frickin' minute."
That was a fun game. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh.
Suton, who has 50 points and 36 rebounds in his past four games against Wisconsin, said he doesn't like how the Badgers play.
"Yeah, they're dirty," Suton said. "They push, they hold."
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Michigan State will probably win today, because Wisconsin is fairly mediocre and MSU is supposedly pretty good. But if UW somehow wins the game, look out.

Didn't MSU lose at home to Northwestern and Penn State? Why say "somehow" talking about UW's chances?
There's no way they would overlook Wisconsin like they did Northwestern and PSU, being that it's such a big rivalry.
UW had this one but just choked in the last 5 minutes. And the whining from Izzo & Co. was unbearable the whole game.
