Jets Quarterback Retires

Alex Rodriguez should send Brett Favre a teddy-gram or something for taking some of the spotlight off of Alex for a short time, both nationally and in New York.

Maybe some candy.

The sad thing is it won't take the spotlight off him. Favre had is big "tribute day" last year in the media - they won't do it again.

Yeah, like it will be this easy. 100 bucks says this is what will happen-from profootballtalk.com:

Our guess? If Favre gets the itch to play again in June, he’ll instruct Cook to call the Jets and inform them that Favre still wants to play. And then the Jets will have to decide whether to release him from the reserve-retired list, to welcome him (and his $13 million salary) back, or to create enough cap space to carry him while they try to trade him.

Anyone wanna bet?

I'd take that bet, if betting was legal.

I thought he still had what it takes.

Wait, you're tellin me 2 TDs, 9 Ints in the final games isn't what it takes?

You Ted Thompson-loving bastard!

Kelly Clemons retired?

It's about time Vinny Testaverte retired.

I don't understand why the mothership(ESPN) covers a guy who led the league in INTs last year.

I'll take a buck of that action

He should play another year.

Thanks for the memories Brett. One of the greatest QBs to ever play the game and arguably the best of all time. HOF 2016
