What a half

Man, that was a fun half of football to watch. The Cardinals' offensive game plan was nearly flawless in the first half. Their offense was hitting on all cylinders. Obviously a great week of preparation. They called exactly the right play almost every time the Eagles brought the blitz. Fitzgerald is just in the zone right now. With Boldin looking like he is playing at at 75% his normal ability, I can't believe how much single coverage Fitzgerald is seeing. Heck, the Cardinals got hosed on that kick-off call and they are still dominating the game. The crowd seems amazing there. Let's see if the Eagles can do anything in the second half. McNabb looks just brutal. Kind of like how Favre looked in big games the last 8 years.

The Eagles have been like this all year. You never knew which team would show up. Today we get the awful Mcnabb-in-cement-shoes version.

And just like that, some big halftime adjustments by Philly. McNabb and Ried (who HAS to be pushing 375 pounds) are the ultimate cockroaches...just can't kill those guys.

i dont know why i picked the eagles but i did. maybe I was thinking of of a 4th and 24 miracle, but during the game i was reminded that neither darren sharper nor bawoh jue is playing for the cardinals, and Fred (FredEx) Mitchell is/was an overrated loser...that last part has nothing to do with anything, but when I think of the eagles in an NFC championship game I automatically think of 4th and 24 and cringe...

Philly fans are probably not all worked up this morning about that non-pass-interference call on Kevin Curtis at the end of that game.

Nah. I'm sure they're still basking in World Series glory.
