Toyota is Ruining my Sports Watching Experience

Every time that stupid "Saved by Zero" Toyota commercial comes on, I want to punch my TV. I think they started airing this during the MLB playoffs and it now seems to be broadcast during every commercial break of every football game I watch. For Monday night's Redskins-Steelers game, the commercial came on during the first three commercial breaks. I gave up after that.

It is the same commercial every time. A terrible song reminding me I can get 0% financing on a Toyota. Seriously, the Fixx? WTF? Great. The thing is, nothing happens during the commercial. It looks like it was produced as part of a college project. Ugh.

They leave this junk on but quickly get rid of the "Very Rewarding" credit card commercials. What is this world coming to?

Rant over.

I didn't think there would be anything more annoying than hearing the John Cougar Mellencamp "This is our country" commercial over and over and over, but this is it.

Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero, Save by Zero,

How is a clown suppose to concentrate on giving hair cuts with giant combs and scisssors when this ad is on all the time!?

The clowing barber business will never be the same.

Goldy I think your TV is upside down. I like what you've done with the place though.

The worst part about this commercial is that my three-year-old daughter is convinced that her shouting "Stop" at the TV is actually making each car stop by the giant zero. This has increased the annoyingness substantially.

Thanks Matt. Dog #2 was the project manager behind the remodeling.

Update:

I saw the end of the Channel 12 10:00 news last night. Good for one commercial break. Take a guess what commercial came on. Ugh!

I DVR'd South Park and noticed the commercial was on twice. It still annoyed me even fast forwarding through this.

Now, as AP points out, the stupid commercial is going to last another month. Please Toyota, stop the insanity!
