Favre is Dead to Me

It's halftime of the Packers game, so I'll make this a quick one. According to Jay Glazer, Favre spent 60 - 90 minutes on the phone with Lions coaches giving up the Packers playbook prior to the Packers-Lions Game in week 2.

Really? If this is true, what a douchebag. Favre is a complete self centered ass. Maybe he will go on Oprah to explain his side of the story. Screw this jerk store.

Glazer has been spot on in breaking NFL news over the past 2 years. Since he doesn't work for ESPN, he doesn't have to protect Favre.

Somehow...SOMEHOW...people will still blame the Packers for this...like they were asking for it or something.

God do I despise Brett Favre.

The jerk store called and they're running out of Favre.

Thompson needs to activate himself over the bye week and assign himself #4, then "retire" and have the Packers retire "his" number.

Favre is just a douche. You know he's miserable as a Jet, but he'll never admit it.

DEAD to me. If they never retire his number or put him in the Packer hall of fame, thats FINE with me.

F*** him right in the ear.

And Jay Glazer's reports are always solid.

This seems a little out there.

That being said, what a turd.

Also...I think its interesting he can give up any secrets he wants. I mean, I'm not allowed to disclose proprietary information about my company in any form. Shouldn't the NFL have a policy similar?

Favre is the crazy, bi-polar ex-girlfriend who won't let it go. The more stories that come out, the more he proves just what a douchebag he really is. Yeah, he wanted the Packers to lose so it mades Ted look bad, but what about his ex-teammates? What do Clifton and Taucher - the guys who protected him all those years - think about this? I thought Driver was his "friend." Why try and help these guys lose?

Brett is a first ballot Billups.

I agree with the other Ben. If this is proven to be true, my initial reaction is that the Packers should sever all ties with this loser. No Packer HoF, no ring of honor. Actually, bring him up for the Packer HoF ceremony anfd at the last minute tell him they changed their mind and he can go home.

I agree that if proven to be true, there could be an NFL fine or suspension. It's one thing when someone like Sharper goes to the Vikes and tells the coaches about the Packers defensive schemes. However, when you are an active NFL player and contact other teams, unsolicited, and give up a team's playbook, that just seems like it is against the rules.

It would be great if he got suspended and his consecutive starts streak ended.

I also like how ESPN is completely ignoring this.
