Here's ESPN's info regarding the Favre story. Hey, let's call it "Favregate!" ESPN's coverage of it...crickets....crickets....
Nothing about it on the homepage, NFL page, or NFC North Blog.
Boy, how much do they hate Jay Glazer?
Here's a great piece from TheBigLead about how Glazer single handily beat mobs of ESPN reporters during the Favre-GB divorce. Good Stuff.

How much of a joke has the worldwide leader become? They can't even hide or mask their raging hard on for Favre any longer. "Hey, we've got 142 reporters in disguise around GB so we can break the Favre trade story, whoops, Glazer scooped us again."
I love how the Favre apologists are saying this type of action is commonplace and happens all the time. You know that the Favre apologists have more insight into this than the players in the locker room and all of the media people combined right?
If TO did something like this, ESPN.com would have 10 stories and they would be breaking in to programming on ESPN.
Exactly...TO goes into a lousy sprinters crouch to celebrate a TD and we assassin the guy. I swear, Favre could shoot a pregnant lady in the stomach and all of the hillbilly Favre apologists will say, "Well, TT screwed him, so what do you expect. It happens all the time!"
ESPN made "Favre calls Romo about pinkie" a headline, but not this?
The lack of coverage by ESPN pretty much is the best indication of all that it's true. If they knew for sure it was false, they'd be running a story exonerating their boy Favre and sticking it to Glazer, but they can't do that since it probably happened.
Just sickening how ESPN, Peter King, etc... are all in Favre's pocket and he can do no wrong in their eyes.
This says it all. Rod Marinelli's response: "No Comment."
Thats all I need to hear.
Have we heard where this "source" is from GB or Detroit? Jay Glazer Blogger? I find this just so odd. I don't know why Favre wouldn't have called Minnesota someone he has friends with and at least had a chance of beating the packers.
Maybe he did call Minnesota. They just don't have a recently departed exec to spill the beans.
Maybe he sat down with the Packers schedule and a mug of cocoa and called every team the Pack will face this season. How would we hear about it if not for an insider who suddenly has no reason to keep secrets?
