uh-oh

According to ESPN.com, Al Harris could be out for the season. An already suspect D gets thinned out even more. Losing Harris is big, and it continues down the line as you have to bring in a chump in the nickle and dime packages. Ugh.

eh, shouldn't stop them from making the playoffs and it gives his replacement(s) plenty of time to make mistakes before the games really matter in january.

Our bigger issue is our safeties... if we don't get pressure on the QB they suck in coverage. Both Miles Austin plays were due to blown safety coverage - the first on Nick Collins and the second because Aaron Rouse never gave over the top help. This only makes it worse, as they'll have to play better.

It's a big hit, and in no way am I saying Harris is terrible. BUT....Harris has been on the decline for a while now and Tramon Williams has looked fantastic. It's not as big of a blow as it might've been a few years ago. Still, they shouldn't let Bush see the field for any reason, and I completely agree with the QB pressure/safety coverage comment made above.
