Is it over?

I could handle the loss at St. Louis a few weeks ago. The Mets loss on Labor Day? Difficult, but I chalked it up to a good team pulling it out and Gagne. This loss? The beginning of the end. Is Mota our best reliever right now? To have a 10 game home stand with 7 games against brutal teams and to finish under .500 in unacceptable. A decent homestand seals up the Wild Card. Now they are fucked. I am sure Philly is licking their chops to play this freeswinging group of turds this weekend. By Friday, the Phillies are leadign the Wild Card race. Not good times.

Wow, there's a lot of doom-saying over here. All will be well. Teams get hot and teams get cold. We'll heat up again. And Gallardo will be the best relief pitcher in the Bigs by next week. *fingers crossed*

All those wins in 1 run contests are starting to catch up and even out but they are still in the WC lead so I'll answer with a big NO, it's not over. It still isn't even over with a 3-1 series loss in Philly...

Don't worry, we have Suppan pitching tonight...

This could be over by the time we leave Philly.

We don't really have time to wait for them to heat up again. It's go time.
