Everybody calm down

The Brewers lost last night. It was a tough one to swallow. Not to get all Ned Yosty on you all but it was just 1 game. So relax and enjoy the 3 game lead.

There are now 18 games left. 8 games against Cincy & Pittsburgh, 10 games against Chicago & Philly.

Here's what needs to happen: Just above .500 ball the rest of the way. While I think 9-9 will be enough, 10-8 will get it done guys. We cruise to 92-70 and the WC birth.

Let's split with the Cubs and the Phillies. Then take 5 of 8 against Cincy & Pitt. The playoffs will be shipped.

Keep the bashing of the team that is currently 20 games over .500 to a minimum please. I don't understand it. Last night was the exception, not the norm.

Unfortunately it HAS been the norm for the last week-plus....

I still love the Brewers, but currently I'm not IN love with them.

Sounds about right. It's like when your best friend finally kicks his heavy, destructive drinking (losing), you welcome him back 'cause you love him, it goes great for a while, but then ya'll go to a party and he has a few too many. You're not going to give up on him but you're worried, and scared as hell that he'll relapse back to drinking entire litres of Mr. Bostons gin.

Exist, I guess....

Don't forget that it's Anon. saying it, who is a special boy/girl/muskrat.

I wish we had a dominate closer...

I believe the hitting will come around, but the bullpen is what scares me! Who can you trust to put in the game? I am very nervous about making the playoffs.

The bullpen has been an issue all season. If it isn't one guy its another. The playoffs need to be complete games all the way through. Especially if we continue to hit/not hit like this. Not giving up just saying I would like to go to one game in the month of september and feel like "O we have this one in the bag."
