I'll be honest - I'm pretty excited about the news that Time Warner has finally struck a deal with the Big Ten Network.
Now I can watch that big game this weekend with the Zips of Akron.

they better have the HD version ready by saturday as well, or it doesn't matter to me.
Great, now you can watch Bucky squeak it out 45-14.
Is it just the Badger games or is it going to be the entire BIG 11 NETWORK. I am excited to watch Badger games but vested interest else where.
According to the stories it's the Big Ten Network, not just the Badgers games. TWC is in Ohio too so I'm sure those folks wouldn't want to just watch the Badgers games.
A bigger question is, do they even show Purdue games on the Big Ten Network?
as someone who has had the btn for a year, it is excellent. especially during basketball season - but very useful during football season too.
with the dish, you get all of the big ten games as they spread them out over free channels.
get the dish already.
Does the BTN stop covering hoops in mid-March and football during BCS games? For Big-11 fans sake, it should!
The only time they show Purdue is when they are playing the badgers or the Badgers play at a different time so its pretty much a mute point for me. My best chance is to just go the games.
I am also looking forward to all of the excellent mid-week programming. Those coach's shows and women's golf dual meets will be thrilling beyond belief.
