4-4

For all of the hand-wringing that's been going on lately, a 4-2 road trip isn't that bad.

Now it would be nice to get going at home again.

Wow, that must have raised his batting average .8!!! What's he hitting now .231?

I'm pretty sure your unborn son will hit more balls being concieved than Dick Reeks will the rest of the year.

I was looking through old posts and found this Gem...

Like his chubby buddy playing first, Rickie Weeks has multiple All-Star potential and figures to be a fixture in the Brewers lineup for years to come. 2006 stats: .279, 8 HR, 34 RBI, 19 swipes, in 95 games.

The Good: I’m a big fan of all around players and Rick fits into this category. He can hit, hit for power (eventually) and run like a deer. He doesn't run like there's a Buick on his back...rare for a Brewer. I thought his aggressiveness at the plate would not serve him well in the leadoff spot…I was wrong as Weeks flourished batting first. Plus, after an atrocious start in the field, he became almost “sure handed” before the injury. Legitimate 30-30 potential. Projects as more of a #2 or 3 hitter.

2007 Prediction: .288, 18 bombs, 70 RBIs, 31 steals.

Grade: B+. Those numbers are hard to come by from the 2B position.

Would Ron Belliard be an upgrade? Just to play devils advocate...

I'm pretty sure my mom (who is a clown) would be an upgrade. She could make balloon animals while rounding the bases in her floppy shoes.

She could also give players pretend hair cuts with her giant scissors.

Oh, yeah...that's good stuff. I did drink the Kool Aid after the end of last year. Not again.

You realize if Weeks finishes hot again, they give him 500 ABs next year too.

If your mom is a clown, does that make you a clown? Is it matrilinear, like Judaism?

Rickie is like a blazingly hot Nun... It looks like it could be amazing but you know you're not going to get anywhere or be satisfied unless you change your expectations. He's a baseball tease.

No, unfortunately, the clowning jean skipped a generation. Although, I do get urges to pack a bunch of people in my car... But I think that's because I'm Mexican.

GENE, not jean. Wow, long day.

So that makes your mom a Mexican clown. That's some good shit Paco.
