Tony Gwynn Jr. hit a walk-off bomb last night for AAA Nashville.
No word on whether he untucked his shirt while staring down the shot from the batter's box, then crawled into the stands in Albequerque and beat the piss out of some fan, in keeping with the teaching of the minor league instructors in the Brewers farm system.
Oh, Gamel also went yard yesterday for Nashville. He only has 1 error in 3 games. Good times.

Lets congratulate TGJ on his 12th extra base hit of the year.
Remember when we were thinking the Crew could trade him for a servicable, MLB-level reliever? Yeah, not so much.
As much as I'm anticipating the Gamel Experience, I actually kinda hope it's Nelson that gets the call... We'll see.
On that subject- Who are the likely Sept. call ups? Who do you think we'll see? Who would you like to see?

I know one of the Nelson's was named Gunner. Wasnt't the othe rone names Pete or something like that. Well, You will have Mel Stocker's pinch running ability called up. Luis Pena? Jay gibbons?
Part of me really doubts they'll call up Gamel... It would seem a waste. As much as I'm down on having Counsell in there every day, he IS solid defensively and it would be a shame to lose that at a demanding position just to give a kid a trail while we're in the midst of a playoff race...
Mel Stocker? Sounds like a made-up player that you get in The Show to fill a roster... Has Gibbons been doing well, post PEDs?
