Brewers Catchers

To feed D'Amico's craving for old school Brewers, how about catchers:

Jesse Levis, anyone?

I think I'm going to start my own blog "Julio Shoots" in honor of Julio Machado.

As a side not, I think he gets out of prison this year.

Rueben Quevedo.

I like your style, Clown. Free Julio Machado.

The Brian Banks jersey that I own may be my greatest piece of memorabilia. People think my last name is Banks when I wear that thing.

You OWN a brian banks jersey!?!?! I'm so jealous!

In my brain I always meld him, Kevin Barker, and Kieth Ginter into one uber-white Brewer suckfest.

I actually have fond memories of when guys like that were what we had to be proud of, of when Mark Loretta was one of the three best players on the team; thinking about it should give us all a sense of perspective about the last four years. As bad as it can be, at least we're competitive again.

Gerald Williams was one of the 3 best players on the Brewers when he played here.

And he, like Loretta, was/is a servicable ballplayer. If you have a good team they are capable backups. But if they're one of your top-three... Ugh.

Keith Osik? Gross

How has nobody mentioned Eddie Perez or Mark L. Johnson yet?

Speaking of crappy guys, remember Trent Durrington? The crappy Australian second baseman Ned had a boner for. Basically the old Joe Dillon

I think Jim Sunberg was the lone all star for the crew when I was a wee lad in the early-mid 80s.

Chris Barnwell. I hate that guy

Was Eddie Perez the one who was built like a bowling ball?

Anonymous said...

Yeah, that was Eddie.
