Rocks 8, Brewers 3

Haven't whipped out the Hindenburg in a while, so, here's to you Guillotine Mota. Why this guy continues to pitch the 8th inning in close ballgames is still a mystery.

Also, anybody notice a significant increase in "nervous coughs" from Prince. Check it out next time they zoom into the big fella. Maybe the boca burgers are not agreeing with him.

Sure, Mota sucks but...

Why don't we talk about how the Crew has only scored 2 runs against Ubaldo Jimenez and Glendon Rusch in 14 innings? Do the batters not prep for pitchers? Do they just go out and assume they will hammer these pitchers cause they suck? Every hitter is responsible as well as the coaching staff.

I watch these games and see the Rockies take pitch after pitch and run the counts full and then I see the crew jumping at first pitch crap and swing at pitches way out of the zone...sometimes last night they would get the count to 3-0 or 3-1 and I don't think 1 walk ever resulted.

Why does Yost stick up for his ball club so much? Of course the Crew should expect to win, but how can they romp the Pirates and lay down against the Rockies? Sure they have good hitters, but I thought our hitters were good. They have been a disappointment all season and no one gets a free pass this series...they have all sucked. I wish they would own up. I wish someone wold show some leadership.

The crew is not going anywhere in the post-season if they are going to play like this. They are getting out played by inferior teams and out-coached on a daily basis.

I'm with Garcis. Combine the starts this year by Kevin Slowey, Jorge Campillo, Glendon Rusch, and Ubaldo Jimenez.

48IP, 42 K's, 10 Earned Runs

6-0 with a 1.86 ERA

I got up and left last night as soon as Cameron misplayed that ball in center. I'm glad I missed the rest of Mota's Hindenburg impression.
