Hope That Was Worth It

ESPN's ridiculous search for "Titletown, USA" ended. Your winner....Valdosta, Georgia. I'm sure it's a fine place (after all, it IS "A City without limits") for some peach cobbler, and I hear they have a sweet high school football tradition...but Valdosta?? Was Odessa, Texas busy? Valdosta does earn points for being the hometown of Sonny Shroyer. AKA, Enos of Dukes of Hazard fame!

Next up for ESPN: which city earns the right to be called Hockeytown, The Big Apple, City of Brotherly Love, and The Steel City.

At least it was better that ESPN's incredibly lame "Who's Now" contest. That was the most worthless piece of sports broadcasting in history.
