LaVodka: "Bush is on the hill? Ah, we don't need Albert. Take a siesta tonight, Al."
MILWAUKEE — Manager Tony La Russa plans to rest first baseman Albert Pujols tonight, potentially giving Pujols his first day off this season. He didn't start an earlier game but appeared as a pinch-hitter.
"It's what I've been thinking all along. It's a good way to do it," said La Russa, who in spring training forecast two or three days off a month for the former MVP.
A midgame appearance would imperil Pujols' season-long run of reaching base in 39 consecutive games.
La Russa plans to start Chris Duncan at first tonight.

Don't matter, it's a loss for the Crew with Bush on the mound.
LaRussa also plans on winning by 12
