The Ex-Brewers Files

While we are at it, lets see how some other ex-Brewers are doing this season. We will start out with Jenkins and the AL. I'll hit the NL when I have more time.

Geoff Jenkins - Philly: Started 35 out of 55 games. .290 avg., 4 HRs, 14 RBIs, 9 walks, 33 Ks, 4 errors, 14 ABs against lefties - 2 hits.

Gabe Gross (Tampa stats) - .224 avg with 2 HRs and 6 RBIs. 10 walks and 17 Ks in 58 ABs. Has started 15 games in RF.

Lyle Overbay - Toronto: .273 avg with 3 HRs and 18 RBIs. 32 walks and 39 Ks.

Matt Stairs - Toronto: .279 avg with 6 HRs and 15 RBIs. 30 Ks in 140 ABs

Kevin Mench - Toronto: .258 avg with no homers and 2 RBIs in 31 ABs. An amazing 2 walks and 3 Ks.

Dennis Sarfate - Baltimore: 20 games, 2-1 record, 3.38 ERA, 1.59 WHIP, 16 BB and 23 Ks in 21-1/3 innings.

Greg Aquino - Baltimore: 6 games, 6-1/3 innings, 14.21 ERA, 2.84 WHIP, 7 walks.

Chad Moeller - Yankees: .250 avg., 1 HR 8 RBIs in 52 ABs. Has not hit for the cycle this year.

Hideo Nomo - Royals: 4.3 IP, 18.69 ERA, 3.23 WHIP. He was out of baseball for 2 seasons prior to this.

Dana Eveland - Oakland: 4-4 with a 3.66 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 1 CG.

Jamey Wright - Texas: 3-1 out of the pen with a 3.06 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP.

Richie Sexson - Seattle: .200 BA with 9 HRs and 21 RBIs with 53 Ks. Brutal.

Current Brewers update: 26-28, 7 games out.

if it helps, the cubs were 22-29 and 6 games out on may 30, 2007...

Current Cubs update: doesn't matter since they haven't played any decent teams yet, have played 70% home games and even if they make it, they'll never win a playoff series.

that last comment would mean a lot more if you signed your name (took me a while to figure out how to do that too). They are playing good ball right now, and we haven't even begun to sniff good ball. Still waiting for Derek Lee to get injured this year.
