Saw the article below linked on Deadspin and found it pretty damn funny.
Not sure what to make of it. Not sure if the writer is being serious, a little serious, or just screwing around. I hope he's fooling around. Anyway, the analysis (particularly the paragraph regarding baseball prospectus' projections) is so foolish it warrants 3 minutes of your time.

As the writer of said article, I appreciate that you got a kick out of it. Of COURSE I was kidding.
And, yes, I was playing the fool regarding BP's "complex mathematical formula" ... I may be lacking in a mathematics degree, but I think that weighing projected runs scored against projected runs allowed in order to determine wins and losses falls short of "complex."
