Drafty
The 48 hour marathon that is the NFL draft starts tomorrow...thankfully, the first round pick time has been reduced from 15 to 10 minutes. Less time = less Chris Berman, a win-win proposition for us. Anyway, I've seen a list of about 20 different guys going to Green Bay at pick 30. Personally, I'm rooting for a Cornerback or Tackle considering ours will be collecting social security in a few months. Lets take one of those and hope he's not Ahmad Carroll or John Michals. What will happen? Ted will take the best player available, and Matt will not like the pick.

Seems most mock drafts have the Packers taking Brandon Flowers, and they all seem to say he's a reach at that spot but that they need a CB so they'll take him anyway.
Just got to wonder if we draft our punter in the 2nd or 3rd round this year.....
AP - Sherman is not around, you don't have to worry about that.
Anonymous, Ted doesn't draft for need. He goes off his board. Which means he'll reach for a DT or trade down for several 5th and 6th round picks.
A bunck of the mock drafts show another CB coming to GB as well; Antoine Cason from Arizona.
Either way, I'd say 90% of the "experts" are showing some CB for GB in the 1st round, which means Teddy Ballgame will probably trade down and take a OT in the 2nd round.
Have I mentioned recently that I love Ted Thompson? In Ted I trust....
