Tennessee is the new Wisconsin

The beginning of the end of the Badgers 2006-2007 season.

Remember this time last year when Wisconsin became ranked #1 for the first time in school history and promptly went out and lost a Tuesday night road game on ESPN to a ranked team? If Tennessee loses to Kentucky this weekend and one of the 8 Smiths they have on the roster dislocates his elbow, I think I would bet large sums of money on this team going out in the second round of the NCAAs.

Would also like to point out that this was an acceptable rush the floor game. However, Nashville's finest made sure the students knew ahead of time this wasn't happening. Plus, isn't the SEC the conference that fines schools if their fans rush the field/court? Probably best since Vandy's court is raised and this could have caused an issue for the people in the front.

I was thinking the exact same thing while watching the game last night...been there done that!

Other eerie parallels:

-Both games were on the road against their biggest conference rival (UW @ MSU and Tenn @ Vandy)

-Both UW and Tenn fought back from early deficits to take a short-lived second half lead

-Both home team's star players had massive games (Neitzel and Foster)
