Packer and a Reach Around

Two thoughts about the Wisconsin - Ohio State game, and both involved the announcing team of Billy Packer and Verne Lundquist.

First, Packer is an idiot. I had to turn the sound off after halftime because I couldn't listen any more. He's taken the mantle from Dick Vitale as my least favorite announcer, because at leat Vitale has a clue. About 3 or 4 times during the first half, Packer said that basically, Bo Ryan needed to get some scorers on the floor because they didn't have any scorers in the game. Clearly, Packer hasn't watched Wisconsin play much this year, given that Flowers, Landry, Hughes and Bohannon were all on the floor when he was saying this. Hey Billy, who is Bo supposed to put in off the bench for some scoring, Alando Tucker and Kammron Taylor?

Second, my favorite call came from Verne Lundquist. Simple, and very homosexual. And I quote:

"Flowers with the reach around. YES!"

It's fantastic when taken out of context. Wisconsin played like junk but still managed to beat Ohio St. Bring on MSU.
