Keith Law with a monster 2-hour chat today on ESPN.com. I pulled the most interesting questions/answers so you don't have to plow through the whole thing...
Jake (Milwaukee): Who do they end up with? Frankie Cordero. Eric Gagne. Tom Glavine. Thanks!
Keith Law: (2:25 PM ET ) Astros. Tigers. Braves, probably in the next few days.
Jon (Houston): Why would the Astros overpay for Cordero when they are not close to competing?
Keith Law: (2:28 PM ET ) You presume rationality. And they have a GM with a long history of overpaying for relief pitching.
Telemachus (Milwaukee, WI): that's funny...you must have killed the SATs...Tell me anything about the Milwaukee Brewers bullpen or Justin Smoak.
Keith Law: (2:51 PM ET ) My math score was better than my verbal. Smoak's a legit switch-hitter who will hit for power and average from both sides, and he's a plus defensive first baseman. Brewers are looking at one-year bullpen solutions, although they're still negotiating with Cordero. I'd probably let him walk and take the picks rather than risk a four-year deal.
Ryan Braun: I recently told Doug Melvin I would play LF. Think they take me up on that offer?
Keith Law: (2:52 PM ET ) Yes, and they have to.
Todd (WI): Better option at closer for the Brewers McClung or Turnbow?
Keith Law: (2:54 PM ET ) Zantac or Pepcid?
JimBeau (Left Coast): What will be the five worst signings this winter? (And for extra credit, the worst trade?)
Keith Law: (3:05 PM ET ) Romero, Rowand, Hunter, Linebrink, Glavine, and the worst trade will be whatever trade the Dodgers make that includes one or more of Kemp/Kershaw/Billingsley.

"Zantac or Pepsid" Classic. That better not be our two best 9th inning options...
One-year bullpen solutions = Gagne?
Yeah but for how much money?
Might be interesting.
I'd do it for 5 or 6 million for a 1 year deal. He'll probably get more from someone else.
