Ok, all you Ned Yost haters (looking in Chopp's direction), you have to be ready to get rid of Mike McCarthy following tonight's performance. That was some great play calling in the second half. Hey, lets keep running the ball even though it was obvious the Bears made some adjustment s at the half to stop the running game. Hey, our starting center is out and we replaced him with some guy who lost his job last year, lets keep running. I loved the 3 straight runs in the middle of the 3rd quarter for a 3 and out. Also, the strategy of throwing 7 yard passes over the middle in the 2-minute drill was brilliant as well.
We could blame James Jones pathetic display of ball security, Favre's stupid interception, the questionable defensive illegal formation call on the FG, or the 12 penalties, but as all the Yost haters know, you really can't blame the players for failing to execute, you should blame the coach for not having the right personnel out there.

This game was lost after Jones' fumbles. He doesn't fumble and the Packers blow this game open and the rest of the games doesn't matter. The Bears don't stay close, they don't get momentum and the Pack cruises to the W.
If Holmgren was still here, Jones wouldn't play again for a long time.
That second half play calling was atrocious. Has anybody been able to stop the Packers passing game since week 2? No. So why go conservative and try to run every damn play? I don't get it. And when they did pass, it was like a stupid fake-draw, pump and throw to a running back. What happend to 5 wide, Driver dragging across the middle? My only though was that Jennings missed a chunk of action and MM was pissed with Jones. Even so, Martin made a nice catch and run earlier, and you could have mixed in the TEs. BTW, MM still isn't in Yosts class...until he starts breaking out Robert E Lee quotes...

All I can say is WTF??!! 341 yards of offense at the half, and then 98 in the second half? What the hell happened to the short passes and screens that were killing the Bears in the first half?
Apparently, after killing Chicago in the first half we just wanted to go out and establish the run in the second half. Screw the turnovers, that didn't cost them the game (though it didn't help). Were we watching Mike McCarthy or Mike Tice????
It looked like the Forrest Gregg Packers circa 1986 in the second half, run-run-run-punt, run-run-pass punt. Beautiful! All that was missing was Brent Fullwood.
My qualm was with the use of the linebackers. They were playing against a QB who struggled last week against the Lions and was shaky at best...why were the linebackers not blitzing or even putting 6 or 7 in the box? They stayed soft late in the game just like their offense and they paid for it! That was one horrible game all the way around...the only person that played well was jennings and that was it... I won't even say Wynn played well, cause when I watched him late in the game continuously run into the backs of his offensive linemen when there were gaping holes to the left and right made me want to punch him in the neck...we had a bunch of idiots on the field last night and they better get that fixed before the skins game!
I love the Packers. I know a lot of people think I am being hard on them this year or not that big of a fan, but before the season started, I realistically saw a 4 win team. After I looked at the schedule and though about it, I bumped it up to 6 wins. Not saying that I think they are going to end up that bad, but a 6 win season would not totally shock me.
Having said that, I still love the Packers and used som Tussin to help knock me out after that ending.
You wouldn't be shocked with only 2 more wins? Come on.
Yes, I would be disappointed if they only one twice more, but I don't think it is at all out of the realm of possibility.
