More on LaPorta

Story on Matt LaPorta. Some interesting tidbits:

• Favorite team growing up was the Cubs, because that was his dad's favorite team (sound familiar Tony?)
• Was drafted by the Cubs out of HS, but went to Florida instead
• Is country-strong (I am also country-strong, if the country you're referring to is full of pansies)

So why don't we read a story like this in the Journal Sentinel? Because it takes effort?
