In one game, Joe Dillon has joined the likes of Jack Voight, Charles Carr, and Joey Meyer as Brewer legends. The lifetime AAA player went 2-4 with 4 steaks (batting 3rd, mind you) in the middle of a pennant race. That just doesn't happen much. Chuck Villanueva looked sharp throwing seven innings of zero run ball. The Brewers stay 1 back of Chicago.
Dillon was so clutch I got a voice mail from Matt declaring: "Joe Dillon, your starting right fielder for the 2008 Brewers!" I like it!
