Dennis Dodd of CBS Sportsline is reporting that one possibility for the rumored 12th team in the Big Ten conference could be.....Texas? Dodd claims that Texas isn't that satisfied with the Big 12 and the team would fit all of the criteria that the Big Ten would be looking for in its 12th team (Read: $$$$).
Well, that sure would be better than freaking Rutgers or Syracuse.

.....I'd pay money to see a UT VS. Minnesota or Illinois matchup. That'd be enjoyable to watch Texas score like 800 points before halftime.
Wow, I guess geography is thrown out the window with that one.
I also herd Nebraska as a possibility.
Hawaii is also considered.....
I would say that the ass end of the Big Ten is no worse than the Ass end of the Big 12. Being subjected to Big 12 football for 4 seasons, I can tell you that there are some terrible teams in that conference.
"The loss of Texas from the Big 12 would most likely cause the league to disintegrate."
To where? The SEC doesn't need to expand, and the Pac-10 can only handle 2 more. Where would those other Big-12 schools go? The WAC already has 28 schools.
