Exactly 8 days after a vicious rumor circulated about Chauncy Billups' contract negotiations with Detroit, Billups signed a 5 year, $60 million contract with the Pistons.
It's unclear whether Billups' agent found any comfort in the agent fees he earned for this deal...or whether this vicious rumor has scarred him for life.

Speaking of Rumors, I think I finally realized how McManus honed his golf game.
I just heard Scott Van Pelt on ESPN radio describe how he perfected his golf game this weekend.
"Close down State Street Bratz" and then head over to "Wando's" for some bacon. Pop some advil in the morning and prepare for your best game of golf.
This sounds eerily similiar to Mcmanus's regualar Saturday routine.
I don't remember ever getting bacon at Wando's.
The rest, however, is true. And somehow, I still suck at golf.
