My biggest fear about last night's game? That this outing will throw Turnbow into another free fall that will end with:
1. an 8+ ERA;
2. offseason therapy sessions with a sports psychologist; and
3. about 10,000 splitters thrown in Arizona, trying to learn how to throw that pitch again.
I hope I'm wrong. I hope Turnbow continues to dominate. But doesn't it just make you wonder?
