In the words of Ron Burgandy: "Go f%# yourself, San Diego." The Brewers leave SD 0-3, making it 1-5 on the west coast. Not good.
On the bright side, Brauny looks like a big time player. His upside might be the best of the 4 infielders...

This is an uber-important week of baseball for the Milwaukee Brewers. They get two teams at home who have been struggling in Atlanta and Florida (I think both just got swept at home over the weekend). A 5-2 or 6-1 week would do a lot to make everyone forget about the last three weeks.
I happened to catch a few innings of yesterday's game - the first I've seen in over a week due to my well-timed vacation. One thing stuck out - they looked like a team just trying to finish the game. No effort. I watched Gabe Gross take probably the worst at-bat I've seen this season in the 7th inning, waiving at a pitch about neck high and a foot outside the strike zone for strike 3. They could have played 18 innings against Peavy and not scratched out a run.
