Public Service Announcement

People Magazine is teaming with MLB to send some regular folks (who do irregularly good things for the community) to the MLB All Star game. An acquaintance (basically a friend of a friend) of mine is one of 3 finalists to be sent as the Brewers representative.

Mary Nachreiner lost her daughter Kelly in an automobile accident about a decade ago. Inspired by her daughter's decision to donate her organs, Mary has been an advocate of organ donation in the state and nationally since her daughter's death.

If you're so inclined, please go here and vote a million times for Mary Nachreiner to send her to the All Star game.

I promise you that if voted into the game by Brewers fans, Mary will not spend the next 12 months playing terrible baseball and publicly tearing into the Brewers fans who elected her, like somebody else we know...

in fact, i had suggested to matt that he post something on this - unless he thought his douche-y (anonymous) readers couldn't handle it. pity to see my concerns were realized.

Wow, using Chuckie Hacks as a vehicle for a higher cause. The greater good even. Nice matt. She’s got my vote. Do you think Trey Schwab will get to go with her?

She's got my vote(s)That was easy.
