It's a baseball town!

There may...I repeat...MAY be 300 people in the stands tonight at the Marlins-Brewers game. For shame.

As I type this...Prince Fielder just got thrown out stealing 3rd base, and it may have been one of the worst baseball decisions I have ever seen.

Perhaps the swine flu has taken over Florida?

Gotta love Bill Hall swinging at balls 4 and 5 in the 2nd. Going to end up regretting not getting more runs that inning.

why does julio even leave the bully if we are not down by at least 5? scratch that. why does julio even have a job in mlb??

I just watched new Cleveland Indian Greg Aquino (I can assume there can only be one Greg Aquino) give up nothing after entering with the bases loaded and nobody out against the Yankees, getting A Rod, Posada and Cano.

I also just saw Jorge Julio completely implode for the Brewers. Thanks, gas can.

Kinda made me wish Greg Aquino was back on the team. Or not. But doesn't there have to be a better pitcher than Jorge Julio that the Brewers could have down in the bullpen?

I believe we were in the same position yesterday. 6th inning up by a few runs how about give it to the non GAS CAN guys. No Julio "needs" work we have to give it to him. Ok I will buy that but after he loads the bases you leave him in??????

His fat ass needs to be on a plane back to wherever the fuck he came from TOMORROW after that performance. I would say keep him as strictly but wasting the roster spot seems stupid...just a HORRIBLY managed game by Macha tonight...yikes.

strictly as a mop up guy, but wasting the roster spot seems stupid.

I can sort of understand giving Julio some work, but for god's sake not in THAT situation. You can't put in a guy with more walks than strikeouts with a 2 run lead. There's no reason Julio shouldn't be released tonight.

They're pretty much out of rested arms in the pen according to Macha, which I can see with 3 straight starts less than 6 innings but to have a guy taking up a roster spot that can't be trusted in anything other than meaningless mop up innings is ridiculous.

Cleary, anonymous did not enjoy Julio's performance. Don't blame them...NOBODY enjoyed it.

Looks like Macha was forced to use the piece of trash. Check out TH's article on the blog. We're in some deep shit if DeFilice is out for a while.

Maybe if the bullpen phone worked in that piece of shit stadium we could have gotten Coffey in there sooner.

Was anyone else getting really fucking annoyed by the morons yelling? "JJ... JJ... You Suck!" How can that few people be that loud?

Florida - Land of shitbag transients and felonious Cubans

I think that entire crowd could fit in Hart Park with plenty of room to spare.

I spit out my beer when Rock had the balls to say that Miami is a "baseball crazy town"

No kidding on being able to hear every little thing the "hecklers" (if you can call them that) yelled.

It would be different if just one of them was funny/creative.
