The Brewers look for their 15th straight win against these jokers today. That is an insane number. That is like saying the Bucks haven't won in Phoenix since 1982 or whatever. Heck, even Julio is getting the act. Parra must not have started against the Pirates in some time. Well, lets keep the train rolling and get the first sweep of the season.

A nice win with some timely hitting, but there were still a ton of guys left on base. The bats are heating up and there will be close to one-million runs scored this year.
See Braun's continued comments about getting plunked the other night? He's pissed because it damn near hit him in the neck. That was my initial reaction too - it was up near his name.
From the JS Blog, talking about Karstens:
"I guarantee you that kid wanted nothing to do with it," said Braun. "It came from somebody else. He wouldn't even look at me."
And then:
"If I deserved it, that's one thing. But I didn't do anything. When I deserve it and get hit, that's fine. I have no problem with it. If they have a problem with me admiring a home run too long, that's part of the game. I understand that. But that was totally uncalled for. It was way too high."
"Once in awhile I'm going to hit one out and enjoy it. If it's the right situation. But my intent in doing that is never to show up an opposing player or embarrass anybody. There aren't too many home runs you really get to enjoy, so why not? If a pitcher makes a big strikeout and he fist-pumps and gets excited about it, I think that's great. It's great to show emotion. I have no problem with that."
Ha. Let's hope he enjoys one this afternoon.

Bill Hall was on the post game radio show last night and said, "We took care of what we needed to take care of tonight and hopefully all of that stuff is done now."
I thought the pitch that hit Braun was high as well. It was right at the shoulders. At the game it looked like Bush never really even hit anyone last night, and they all kind of grazed the batters.
