Hells Bells!

I'm not going to lie. After watching Coffey mow down the Diamondbacks in the 8th, I was hoping to see him pitch the 9th. I know he had to bat in the 8th, but with 2 down and nobody on, his AB couldn't have been any worse than Brad Nelson's. However, Hoffman isn't the all-time saves leader for nothing. A good looking 9th and the Brewers get another great win. Miller Park seems like it jumps up a notch when Trevor enters the game.

Good to see the bats come around a bit in the 7th. The scoring drought was starting to get ridiculous. A great walk by Hart and another excellent walk by Prince. Also, great job by Cameron to jump on the first pitch from a lefty junkballer. Just a great win. What a difference a week can make.

In other news, I'm suspecting one of the all-time great NBA playoff games was played tonight. The Bulls beat the Celtics in triple OT, forcing a Game 7. I only watched the last minute of OT #3, but that was great. Jokim Noah, who I dislike way more than Corey Hart, has a sweet strip of Pierce with about 30-seconds to go and dribbled the length of the court and threw down a dunk and was fouled and gave the Bulls a 3 point lead. With about 10 seconds left and the Bulls up 1, Heinrich blew a wide open lay up on an inbounds play. On the other end, Derrick Rose had a sweet block of Rondo and then was fouled on the other end. Remembering last season's NCAA title game, Rose clanked both FTs and the Celtics had a shot to win but missed. Greta last minute of what I am assuming was a all-time classic game. Oh yah, Ray Allen had 51 points. George Karl can go eat a big fat dick.

Didn't that Bulls-Celts series start like 4 weeks ago?

I'm still convinced w/ under 4 seconds are you team up 1, if the other team, esp in the NCAA has no timeouts, you should miss 1 free throw on purpose, b/c then the other team is less organized and is probably heaving a 3 pointer anyway.

Totally agreed great_One. Never understood letting the other team set up a shot.

Of course I also never understand when a team is up by 4 as time is running out why they aren't all on the other side of the court so there is no accidental foul on a 3 attempt.

And yes, George Karl can eat a dick.

I love how a post starting out with MLB as the main topic has a short blurb about the NBA at the end...
