Geoff Jenkins In Hall Of Fame Discussion?

Not really. His name did come up in a classic post from The Baseball Analysts. It systematically destroys Dan Shaughnessy's pledge to get Jim Rice in the HOF.

...Rice ranks tied for 179th on the all-time intentional walk list. Included among the others with 77 career intentional walks are the likes of Geoff Jenkins and Clay Dalrymple (among others)....

Great article. Shaughnessy always seemed like the Jay Mariotti of The Boston Globe. And that's not a good thing. Maybe I'm wrong...haven't read too much of his stuff.

On a baseball note-

I'm very happy that the Crew was able to sign Capuano to a minor-league deal. I like him, and hope that he can come back and be a starters. He'd be a hell of a lot better than Suppan....
