No Postseason Ban? Super Duper!

The NCAA handed down its sanctions against Indiana University and its men's basketball team today. Everyone seems to think it's a big deal that the sanctions did not include a postseason ban in 2008-09.

Um, have you seen Indiana play this year? Me neither, but they're 2-2 after just getting creamed by Notre Dame and Saint Joseph's by 38 and 26 points, respectively.

I think this is kind of like not imposing a 2008 postseason ban on Indiana's 3-9 football team.

I would just like to take this moment to point out the Big Ten is going to be truly terrible this year. You have two solid teams in MSU and Purdue, a decent Badger squad and then a mess.

What about Michigan, Goldy? They beat everyone's darlings, the UCLA Bruins.
