Please accept my apology Mr. Werth.

Jayson Werth, I sincerely apologize for comparing you to the human excrement that is Corey "If I Only Had a Brain" Hart. You appear to be a legit major leaguer who grasps the nuances of the game and is even capable of getting a two out hit. Scarecrow Hart on the other hand thinks it is a great idea to swing at the first pitch with the bases loaded in an inning where 2 guys were unintentionally walked and the batter before you walked on 5 pitches, with the only strike coming on the just get it over 3-0 count pitch. There is no way you should be swinging at that pitch. And if you do swing, it better be a pitch in your wheelhouse that you intend on driving and not an outside pitch that you have to reach for and hit a meek dribbler back to the pitcher. Corey Hart, you could be the stupidest player in baseball. After ripping the fans of Milwaukee, who voted you in to the All Star game, you proceed to look scared when batting with the bases loaded and the season on the line Sunday, strike out to end the game with the tying run on base yesterday on a pitch over the middle of the plate with no movement and then today's debacle that changed the whole mood of the game. Ugh. Where have you gone Gabe Gross?

I had the same thought about Gross tonight watching the game, and I completely hated Gabe Gross.

The only reason I'm looking forward to Saturday is to boo the shit out of Hart, and I know I'm not the only one. He sucks at life.

Agreed. I never understood why people are in such a hurry up there. take a couple pitches, it can't hurt! (well, unless you get HBP, but even in that case you're getting a RBI so just take it!)

I never thought I'd be saying this, but I'm ready to see TGJR start in RF. Who knew that Kapler's injury would prove to be more devastating than Brauns?

Thank you, Goldy.

As I said last night during the game Goldy, thank you for taunting Mr. Werth. We are not dead yet. In 18 innings they have only out scored us twice. Errors in game one and costly walks in game 2. Other then that we really haven't been out played (See Chicago). Agreed it doesn’t look good (for the record Willis doesn’t work on TV games) but we come home now, we have Bush (playing well) starting tomorrow and Mr. October (all be it 2006) pitching Sunday. I like it. Willis and I will be there. Let's get the bats going at home! Championship Season 08!

"In 18 innings they have only out scored us twice."

WTF? Worst rationalization ever.

That's like Japan saying: "We were holding our own, until they dropped those two Atom Bombs."

gotta find something. and right now it would be our bull pen. We need to get our bats going and a good start from Bush.
