Wow...ok, Brett Favre is a Jet.
Enjoy that Brett, seriously. Enjoy going to the Jets and drawing comparisons to the late careers of Boomer Esiason and the great Vinny Testaverde. Enjoy the New York Media. Enjoy the cold of New York instead of the cold of Green Bay. Enjoy learning a completely different offense that you have never seen after admitting you can't "put in the time anymore" during the grind of an NFL regular season. Enjoy throwing passes to Erroneous Coles.
See you in the Super Bowl Brett. We'll beat you then, and then take a first round draft pick.
I have no idea how this is all going to work out, on both the Packers' end and the Jets' end. But if somebody would have told you 4 months ago that Brett Favre would be a New York Jet for the 2008 season you would have been laughed at.
Ie...this is just laughable.
Good luck Brett! New York Jets Quarterback!
Read this deadspin blog roll link for all types of Brett Favre crap...
Go Brewers.

If Brett's going to be a Jet, does that mean Rodgers is going to join the Sharks?
Boooo me.
Wow, a West Side Story joke? Yikes.
How long of a leash does Rodgers get before Packer fans turn on him for the sin of not being Brett Favre?
I'd say, probably 1 incompletion before that happens; hope #12 goes 20/20 in his first game, or there'll be hell to pay!
it is what it is.

Anyone can find me a prop bet for betting that Favre's streak ends before Week 10? No way he's going to be able to last that long with everything going on around him.
wow. treating brett favre like an apostate.
Favre is my favorite football player ever.
That said, he's been a real prima donna about this situation. I'll still "love" him, but I'm sad it had to be this way.
What I find wierd is that all of my favorite atheletes (with the exception of Yount) finished their careers on other teams. Molitor, Cirillo, Favre, ETC....
THIS is your team. I ask you to judge us for who we are, not who we are not!
DOGYs - and prince, i'm guessing.
WV-
Yeah, he'll be somewhere else. But I'm up in the air about how I feel about him. I really want to like him, but I question his commitment. Not his talent or passion, but his commitment to 1)his health and 2) the Brewers. Molitor and Cirillo wanted to be in Milwaukee; I don't think Lane Bryant does. Honestly, I'm really hoping they retain JJ long-term next; he'd make a great 3rd Baseman. 280-300, 20 dingers? I'll take it.
i was actually kidding. i was working under the assumption he is not one of your favorite players.
he's not even one of his dad's favorite players. and brewers fans have stopped taking offense when i call him fat. those are 2 pretty good barometers.
The sad thing is that we SHOULD love him... He's a classic, old-school power hitting first baseman. But yeah, you're right.
