Tee Hee.
Glendon Rusch is pitching tonight for the Rockies. Somehow this man still collects a paycheck.
Seriously, as far as I'm concerned, he's the left-handed Jeff Juden.
But yet again, scroll down to the bottom of his stats page and look at his career earnings...feel free to let out a sigh after you see the figure (almost $14,000,000).

Anyone else remember that hit that he got against the Astros in inning #17 to break up a tie game? He attempted to bunt and the bunt went over the head of the drawn in infield. If I remember correctly it went over the 2nd baseman's head.
easy there. he fought through a lot to get back to the majors this year:
From 4/28/08 story:
There was no rush between victories for Glendon Rusch, who sat out the 2007 season because of a blood clot in his lungs and yesterday gained his first win since July 9, 2006 with the Cubs."
OK Buzz Killington
Who wants to hear a story about a bridge?
what? it's a nice story that he made it back.
Captain Phil has a bloodclot in his lungs on Deadliest Catch this season.
They could have done without continually showing Captain Phil's blood loogies.
WV,
Yes, it is a great story.
It's also a great story that he's pitching tonight against the Brewers because he fucking sucks.
Glendon Rusch....wow....
Is anyone else afraid of the patented Brewers' "get shut down by some crappy pitcher" happening tonight? I am.
Woz, You flew too close to the sun with this post.
"It's also a great story that he's pitching tonight against the Brewers because he fucking sucks."
Karma is a bitch...
If there was an internet wall of shame, this would be there for so many wonderful reasons.
Great call Marshalledwards. Does that mean the same thing will happen tomorrow vs George De la Rosa?
The Brewers do not usually seem to get shut down by crappy pitchers consecutively. Something like a 12 to 3 win today makes sense, which then also allows for all of the idiotic "they should have saved some of those for last night" comments from the coworkers I'm at the game with today.
