I HATE BRETT FAVRE HE IS DONE IN MY MIND. This is Aaron Rogers team, I hope they cut him and let him go play for the Queens up in MN. I want to boooo his ass on opening night when they retire his jersey, this is getting out of line.

Matt, when do the Packers move on? When Brett says they should?

THEY F*&KING HAVE MOVED ON, I'm going on NFL.com right now buying a #12 Packer jersey and customizing it to say "Brett Who"

You guys are something else. Booing Brett Favre? Where would the Packers have been for the last 15 years without him?

All I'm saying is, be careful what you wish for. Look at what Miami, SF and Denver have gone through at the QB position since Marino, Young and Elway left. Aaron Rodgers has proven nothing so far, and he has been injury prone.

This isn't about the last 15 years. It's about right now. He's like that annoying high school couple who keep breaking up and getting back to gether. MAKE THE SPLIT ALREADY, BRETT!!

I will be the first guy at Lambeau to welcome him back with wide open arms.

He did take us to the NFC Championship game last year after all.

If he would have said I'm coming back I would have held both doors open. I love the HS couple that keep staying together and breaking up

This is going to be a PR nightmare for the team. Most Packer fans in this state are clueless and blindly worship Brett, so you can imagine the level out outrage, hatred and resentment that will be directed towards the team if they don't take Brett back. Mob mentality will take place.

Personally, if he wants to play, he should play for another team that needs/wants him. He won't win another Super Bowl as there is no team that needs a QB that is just one guy away from winning it all. He'll likely get hurt, or play poorly and tarnish his legacy a bit, but at least he'll be able to scratch that itch.

Rodgers would likely demand a trade if Favre comes back. No way he's going to wait around another year or two.

I think the biggest quest here is, if Favre comes back, what happens to Matt Flynn?
That is where my concern lies.

in related news, i wish peyton manning would go away already. he didn't even take the colts as far as favre took the packers last year. just leave already. sheesh.

620 am just had Al Jones on (the reporter from mississipi who claims to be close to Favre) and he is confirming Favre wants to come back and that he never wanted to retire in the first place. Putting the blame on TT. This could be very intereting.

Any true Packer fan who thinks the Pack should not welcome Brett back is absolutly out of touch.

Aaron Rodgers: "I don't feel I need to sell myself to the fans. They need to get on board now or keep their mouths shut."

Well, if you didn't need to sell yourself to fans before, Aaron, you do now.

What a dumbass thing to say.

Bill - I heard the same thing. In TT's defense, I also heard Wayne Larrave say TT told him that he wanted Favre back this year.

Wrigleyville: Peyton Manning isn't 39, he hasnt been talking about retirement on and off for the last 3 years, he didnt have a sobbing press conference announcing his retirement, The Colts franchise didn't completly move on to a young starting QB in waiting who ran the entire OTAs and mini-camps. Totally different situation.
