Ladies and gentlemen, can I please have your attention. I've just been handed an urgent and horrifying news story. I need all of you to stop what you're doing and listen.
Cannonbal....err...Ben Sheets left tonight's game with tightness in his triceps.
As a point of comparison, the Angels' John Lackey was diagnosed with a triceps strain in mid-March, and he's not expected back until at least mid-May. 2 months.
Joe Borowski recently went on the DL with a triceps strain - he's expected to miss 2-4 weeks.
Outstanding.

Sheet!
Is anyone surprised? It starts with yanking him early to be cautious, then maybe he skips a start, then it's to the DL retroactively just to be on the safe side, and then...he's out for the year.
Who's with me?
Someone needs to tell him he's supposed to stay healthy and have a mammoth season in his contract year.
Sheets is such a tease. Great starts and then he gets hurt. If he decides to take the $ from another team in the offseason, I really won't mind too much. Let him be someone else's problem.
