Giants Fan For a Day

I'm curious - are people on our little corner of the inter-web as happy about this Super Bowl as I am?
.
It almost makes the 20 weeks of the-Patriots-are-so-fahcking-aaasome talk bearable.
.
I remember how much it hurt as a fan to watch a seemingly undermatched Denver Broncos team beat my unbeatable Packers. Just think - it hurts double for Patriots fans right now.

Wrigleyville23's official position is pure joy. Though not as much as last year's Super Bowl.

This night has been awesome. Couldn't have happened to a more arrogant team and it's fans.

I think Bill Simmons just took a week's vacation and will move right to baseball in his next column without ever mentioning this happened.

Awesome! How about the Giants shutting down the Dallas, GB, and Patriots offenses in 3 straight games. Heck, GB scored more points vs the Giants than Dallas and NE...that takes the sting off the Packer loss a little bit. Maybe not.

This helps the sting of the Pack loss.

A. I hate Belichek. Oh and they lost by 3 points. Why the hell didnt he try a 49-50 yard field goal? Starting not to like Thomas as much either although he was a gracious loser in the post game press conference.

B. Moss going of about how the Packers didnt say the right things. No ring for Randy is really nice!

C. The Pack's offensive line is so underrated. Thomas was pressured and on his back all night long. Favre was never under that amt of duress 2 weeks ago.

Now the 2007-'08 Patriots are not only not the best team ever, they're not even the best team in 2007-'08.

Ha.

I would like to congratulate the New England Patriots on a 18-1 season.

I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that Eli freaking Manning went from the bad manning to immortal in about 90 seconds of game time. Unreal.

How many of you were concerned when Thomas had the ball with 28 seconds left?

I was.

I was very concerned. They kept going to Moss deep and he was not open but not exactly covered well either. The one play, the Giants had a CB & S over Randy giving like a 30 yard cushion, and he ran right by the both of them and just missed the 80 yard heave. I though NE was going to add at least a garbage FG for sure.....
