Remember all the talk about Marquette being "afraid" of playing UWM? Crean's afraid, why don't they play each other, it would be good for the city...blah, blah, blah. Well, UWM should have been careful of what they asked for, because they got it. With UWM's glory years in the past, MU rolled the outmatched Panthers 100-65. I know, I know...if this game was a couple of years ago, the score would have been different. True, but that's what everyone thought when they played Wisconsin. Bucky still crushed UWM every year. Marquette is now 35-0 all time vs UWM. Some rivalry, hey?
I still never understood why everyone thought MU was obligated to play UWM? Does Georgetown play George Mason every year? UCLA-Pepperdine? USC-Long Beach State? Boston College-Boston U? Probably not.

I was at the game. More exciting than any part of the actual game was watching Mike McCarthy sitting courtside with Mike Maddux, likely sharing coaching tips... :P
